NY Fashion Week: Ralph Lauren Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

Ralph Lauren's inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2015 Collection came mostly from the Indian safari. In his own words: "My women's collection for Spring 2015 is about an exotic kind of luxury, the spirit of a romantic safari emboldened by luminous colours played against the heritage of pure khakis in sleek and modern shapes. It is a personal style that is sophisticated and timeless." Thus, the collection consisted of wearable shirt dresses, tight trousers, parkas and colourful jewels that contrasted with the clothes' neutral tones. The colour palette ranged from neutral safari hues to pink, purple, bright yellow, orange, white and black. I particularly liked the evening gowns and long skirts.
