Xclusive Make Up Rehearsal of Makis Tselios for AXDW S/S 2014

Hello dear readers! Today's post is dedicated to the Xclusive Make Up Rehearsal  of another great and highly respected Greek designer participating in the 14th AXDW, Mr Makis Tselios. I was delighted to meet Mrs Milly Tseliou, a very kind and gentle person, at Sephora during the rehearsal. Freddy Kalobratsos, the famous make up artist, and his school for make up artists Freddy Makeup Stage, using Make Up For Ever Professional cosmetics worked miracles once again!! During the mini-interview he gave me just for you, Mr Freddy Kalobratsos said he's really happy because he, with his team from Freddy Makeup Stage, will create the make-up looks for the entire AXDW and because fashion week is a very creative institution. He talked about how make up is created and he said that make up doesn't have to do with colours: "The mind creates and the hands execute", which is so true! He also said that the make up look he created for Makis Tselios for the 14th AXDW was inspired by the 1920's but was also brought to today and is characterised by intense sensual eyes and eyebrows and a different technique of applying blush on the cheeks. Lastly, he advised all of us to adjust to real life the make up looks we see on the runway and not to copy them, because they are more theatrical.
