Milan Fashion Week: Angelos Bratis Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

Flying to Milan at last, as Milan Fashion Week kick-started yesterday and I couldn't be prouder and happier because Angelos Bratis, a very talented Greek designer, presented his Spring/Summer 2015 Collection on the first day of this Milan Fashion Week! Angelos Bratis studied at Amsterdam's Fashion Institute Arnhem and is an Italy-based designer who won the Alta Roma Who Is On Next Prize in 2011. The designer had the great opportunity of having his Spring/Summer 2015 show hosted by Giorgio Armani as part of the designer's ongoing support scheme. Well done!!!! Angelos Bratis is constantly inspired by Greece, his native country. In his own words: "It is the DNA of my collections. This country is so beautiful: the light, the colours, the mathematics and geometry heritage."
The designer's Spring/Summer 2015 Collection consists of magnificent minimal yet powerful draped dresses in colour blocks inspired by the paintings of the late Greek artist Yannis Moralis. The fashion show took place at the Armani Teatro and as the designer stated: "This theater is monumental. But my women are monumental, too. They need to be - wearing my little nothings requires a strong personality."
