London Fashion Week: Mary Katrantzou Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

Mary Katrantzou was inspired by the early geologic times when the earth was dominated by a supercontinent called Pangea in order to create her Spring/Summer 2015 Collection. Two hundred odd million years ago the Pangea was broken up and pulled apart to create the new continents. The designer created a lava-like runway of black rubber rocks on which models walked wearing outfits with shifting fabrics which were pulled away to create floating islands. The collection also included wonderful lace dresses.
